Fatphobia ~ Too Cute To Care

I’m an illustrator with a love for fashion and beauty illustration, but I’ve been getting so bored of seeing the same type of figure represented over and over again. Fashion illustration seems stuck on skinny white women, when in real life these women make up a tiny portion of society, and there are so many more body types and races to be represented, all of them equally beautiful and worthy of being included in fashion. I try to make a conscious effort to use my art to celebrate and encourage diversity in fashion illustration, instead of just upholding the ‘slim, white’ standard, and I created this illustration to fight back at fatphobia and body shaming.
